I use floats on my planes...and I also have a flying boat...I find that they work better than skis, on softer snow.
It's a matter of personal preferance though...some guys prefer skis.

It's been so cold and windy lately though, that my friends and I are just staying inside and building.

This is also what can be called "building season"...time to get some new planes ready for Spring and Summer. I'm working on a kit of the .60 size Ultra Sport right now...in between "RCU breaks"
