Default NOT ME!!

I WAS on the list, but since my engines are on the way I guess I don't really count anymore. .

That being said. . Talking to Keith last night, he made it VERY clear that BME is going to strive to put ZERO lemons out the door. EVERY engine is going to be throughly gone through and tested, probably to a degree more extensive than some would imagine, before it leaves on the Big Brown Truck. Mine were both tested on 3 diferent props, to set up a "baseline", and along with the others already put together, have shown consistent power numbers right where Keith expected them to fall.

Production will remain a little slow while things get taken care of, but expect that by the end of the month BME will be shipping a good quantity of Xtremes every week.

Out of the box, you can count on getting a consistent 6600 rpm on a Mejzlik 28-10, and about 6100-6200 with a Menz-S 28-10, then pick up 250-300 rpm as the engine breaks-in and starts making full power. Break-in will probably be best on a 27" prop, such as a Menz-s 27-10. Since the engines are ported to take advantage of "Tuned" systems. . I fully expect that when all is said and done there will be a few out there running 29" Mejzliks (I have a 29-10 on order), canisters, and seeing 6500+ out of the combination, and 27-12 three blades in the low 6000 range. Time and further testing will tell, of course.
