You have to be careful adding floats to an electric model like the Nextar EP. The material they are made of can add considerable weight if, again, you are not careful, and weight is a big detrement with electric flight. It is with any flight, but moreso with electric because you have to take every ounce into consideration when adding to electric powered planes.

You can get away with it with glow because you have more consistent and available power than you will with electric. As you draw down on the battery power, you have less power to work with. With glow, well, as you draw down on the fuel tank, you have the same power available, just less fuel.

You can do it, but you must be very careful with weight.. foam floats would be a great place to start.
