Default RE: Redesign and reconstruction of the Oldest Taurus on Earth

Sheer webs, For who is interested.

Simla will have them and Top Flite Taurus didn’t, sheer webs.
I prepare a short post and pictures about the way spars and sheer webs of real airplanes were designed.

First some pictures of the book I use,

Sterkteberekeningen van vliegtuigen part 1
Design calculations for airplanes, wood and combined constructions.
Writer: Ingenieur W.J. Kelder, of the Fokker factory.
Date of the book October 1945 a few monts after World War Two.
Place of book publisher: Haarlem, also the residence of Anthony Fokker when he was a young boy.

Picture 3 is a note of the writer, for people who already want to became familiar with the Dutch language!

Of course, if anyone has any other question to ask about aircraft design, wood constructions but also tube fuselages, I will show what is in this book, even metal parts, motor mounting.

More to come.
