I've just used a servo mount that glues to the fuselage and installation was really easy but do not have such an easy way to mount the RX. How about some receiver mounts that can be glued to the radio tray or fuselage side? They could be specifically sized for certain receivers to either clip in or mount with some sort of strap. They could also have some sort of integrated cable tidy to hold the wires to make sure there is no stress on the plugs.
