I haven't seen a picture of your PA-2 (Phillips Aircraft fiberglass Aurora) but I can't think of a worse fate for that airframe than to put a heavy four stroke on it. Even though the Aurora's were IMHO one of the best early (1987 ish) turnaround pattern planes, there was still an awful lot of the "ballistic" in them.
Tell ya what, what would you want for the airframe/engine/retracts or just the airframe itself. I really enjoy doing rebuilds on old pattern airframes and this might be one really worth saving.
As for the four stoke/sport plane thing... I don't think so... no matter which engine is in it..unless you go w/flaperons you aren't going to slow it down.
