Well, its a smartech nitro, and i got bored and tore out the nitro gearbox and the engine and gas tank. I took a Traxxas rustler Diff, and redrilled the holes and mounted it. The shafts lined up perfectly and everything. I even got 2 new 2000Mah NiMh batteries, and a Fireball 19d motor and its still pretty slow compared to other cars ive seen. So that got me thinking, and i knew it was the gearing. I just want more speed for the Initial Drift so i can stay sideways for longer around a curve. I can get it to slide really well and control it perfectly around the rest of the turns. I can controll it fine, i just feel like i need more speed to get it to slide better. The setup for the tires right now seems pretty appropriate for the speed of the car. Im also drifting it in my basement, and the floor is painted with some blue epoxy type stuff.
