RE: Any WINTER {SNOW} fliers?
Well, the Lorain County RC Club apparently had their New Years snow fly, about a dozen people showed up, but only one flew. The report was that it was too wet. I couldn't make it, spending NYD with my kid and his family in Irmo, SC. I did stop at the field a week later after the January club meeting and got in a flight with my Island Hopper, which was terminated by the driven gear on the prop shaft coming loose. It was fun, walking about 300' downhill across about a foot of snow. But, I had to do it. It's become an addiction. I thought I was going to stop at 20, but I just found myself on a fair Jan. day, starting year 21 without missing a month.
