Hey Irish. How goes it?

I used a Y for the split elevators on my Seagul Super Sport with my DX7. I was also wondering about doing it with separate channels.. looks like Redback has an answer to that one. Hopefully, he will remember to post those settings after he gets home from work.

As far as the on-board-glow, Phoenixangel got that one for you. But to further define this, it will be on at idle and at any setting after idle that you desire. I set mine to go off at about the same point that he did. So, it remains on at idle and slightly above that, then shuts down and relies on the internal glow function after that.

Dave Lockhart is in our club.. he is high up in the standings for international Pattern. I think he has been flying since he was in diapers his dad, Ron has been flying for over 40 years now. Anyway, Dave did a "white paper" on glow plugs with a complete, in depth, description as to how they work and what makes them work. It's not as simple as just hooking up a battery and going with that, but because we all just see that part of it, well, most of us just don't care... if it ain't broke.. yada yada. I will try to drum that up and Email it to you. It's pretty interesting.
