I don't know the KV of the stock motor, but if that's too high one could always get it in the 1300KV option for the same price and do as you said and prop up. I like high RPM, small prop setups and I have a spare 1800kv 1512 that would run awesome on 6S[>:].....all I need now is the hull, lol![:-]
yeah better to go lower kv and prop up
much less amps being pulled on this hull, and your runtimes will be good to
