Thanks for responses. Can773, that is great to hear you've had success with this motor. Do you know far above 100 amps i'd be with the 30-9 on 22x12e. I'm going with mejzlik and those tend to draw a little less amps than apc. I'm also considering the new advance 30-10 too. The evo might be a little easier to mount though. I've used bigger heavier motors in this plane before on 12s lipo and the plane weighed 17.5 lbs and was very floaty even at that weight. I'm trying to get it down to 15lbs or less and run it on 10s so it flys like a big foamie. This is why i'm interested in the plettenberg, great power to weight ratio with good effeciency and hopefully reliable.
