Injector/carb cleaners are usually straight karosine with a few additives in some of the brands. I too wouldn't use it. You're better off to tear down your carb and clean it out every few years with carb cleaner, or even go the extra mile and put a new carb kit in it... The reason it helps in vehicles is because those injectors get clogged up with varnish and crappy fuel crud at times.
