Hey Charlie,
YES IT WILL. My Dad added a false rib to beef up the beam. He also filled in the original pocket then cut a new one.
Here is mine he assembled for me. It keeps him out of Mom's hair during the day LOL. He is retired so I work 12 hour days and he builds. Now I'm waiting for all the snow and ice to melt to go flying!
It has a Webra Speed .61 E-Flight retracts and it weighs in at 8 lbs. even.
