I also found some shots of the horizontal stab installation.

The stab location is pre-molded into the fuse. The fairings has to be cut out, which was done slowly and carefully because the lower fairing determines the stab incidence. In the end, most of the upper fairing had to be removed so that the stab could be fully slid into place from the right side of the fuse. Once the stab is set permanently (with some additional bracing and polyester resin + microballoons), the upper fairing (fillet) will be recreated with some light-weight filler. As shown in these photos, the stab is just dry-fit (so it appears a little our-of-square with the wing/fuse).

Like I said above... I'm just waiting for some extended warm weather so I can finish the glass work and then move onto engine, air systems and radio installation.
