Thanks Minn. I guess i will go pick up some fishing lead weights. I will figure out how much I need then melt it into a solid block to make it easier for mounting.
As long as you melt them yourself (that's what I do too), go to any place that sells car tires. When they balance a tire, they remove any old weights and toss them into a bucket. Then they have to dispose of them properly (read that as, it's a pain in the butt).

So they are usually happy to give you a few free handfulls just for the asking!
