In the 11X the SD card slot is only for model memory, nothing more.
And yes, there very well might be some internal changes requried. I don't try to know enough about that stuff to worry about it.
Pretty arrogant statement about DSM and DSM2 being junk. I have not had my transmitters changed over yet and don't have any big worry to get them done. It works and works great, always has.
Will let the RCU world handle itself.
