Good morning Thunder, have you considered taking out the magnets from a speaker and gluing it to the table so you dont loose screws??? It works pretty good, also try to make a boarder around the sides of the table so nothing can fall off.
Later dude.[8D]
Was planning on shoe-gooing a magnet onto the table someplace. The border is an awesome idea!

Those are pretty cool ideas.
So is the pit table build thread. Keeping an eye on this one.
Is Amber Bock a really popular Cincy-area thing, or what? I like it, but just don't see it consumed often around here. But when I visit my friends in the Dayton area, or Hamilton/Mason, they always seem to have it around.
You must be hanging out with different people than ThunderbirdJunkie, because 90% of the stores around here don't even carry Amber Bock in 12ers, and most people don't even seem to know what it is. Christian Moerlein (mmmm BARBAROSSA) is the big Cincy thing since they're based here.

ThunderbirdJunkie has plenty nitros...two nitro savages, a couple XXX-NTs, have had a few 1/8 buggies over the years...never really raced nitro though.
Wouldn't mind giving it a whirl, but spending a grand on a 1/8 buggy build right now is out of the budget...hence the $46-to-the-door Dual receiver that was bought with a Best Buy gift card from Christmas [&:]
you dont have to spend a grand on a buggy

there is nothing wrong with used/cheaper models, heck i think my ofna rig is under $400 total and its loaded, hitec digital servos, decent radio, torsen diff, jammin engine, jammin JP-2 pipe, alu clutch shoes, lightened flywheel, pivot ball converson, alu chassis braces and servo tray posts yada yada yada.
im sure with the right skills i could keep up with a state of the art thousand dollar rig, plus unless your doing it professionally who cares?
ThunderbirdJunkie only had about $350 into his MBX5R...but he really wants something with that new injection-molded-plastic smell[&:]

Whats Amber Bock????
One of the only passable mass-produced American beers.
