ThunderbirdJunkie has plenty nitros...two nitro savages, a couple XXX-NTs, have had a few 1/8 buggies over the years...never really raced nitro though.

Wouldn't mind giving it a whirl, but spending a grand on a 1/8 buggy build right now is out of the budget...hence the $46-to-the-door Dual receiver that was bought with a Best Buy gift card from Christmas [&:]
you dont have to spend a grand on a buggy there is nothing wrong with used/cheaper models, heck i think my ofna rig is under $400 total and its loaded, hitec digital servos, decent radio, torsen diff, jammin engine, jammin JP-2 pipe, alu clutch shoes, lightened flywheel, pivot ball converson, alu chassis braces and servo tray posts yada yada yada.

im sure with the right skills i could keep up with a state of the art thousand dollar rig, plus unless your doing it professionally who cares?
ThunderbirdJunkie only had about $350 into his MBX5R...but he really wants something with that new injection-molded-plastic smell[&:]
like pamela anderson's boobies?
New was the operative word, bro...you missed the word NEW. New does not mean 25 years old[&:]
