I will start a thread dedicated to sample letters and communications to help folks save time with this step.....I will start this to help us gather our letters and communications in one place so we can respond to Dave's ''call to action''.....and do so in a consistent and beneficial manner.
It is my understanding from discussions with both Dave Mathewson and Rich Hanson that as the time draws near the AMA will provide sample letters for people to use. They are also talking about a web based look up tool that will make it very easy for people to obtain the correct mailing address and other contact info for their elected representatives. I'm not trying to discourage your efforts, just trying to let you know that the AMA is already planning to do it as well.
No offense taken....One team , etc....and thanks for the heads up since we do not want to duplicate effort......and I do not have the resources the AMA does as well
I think I will start a thread as well, and it can be a head start if people want to kick in......it has been my experience it is usually hard to get folks started and most will avoid getting involved until the issue affects them.....but this group may be different.....too soon to say
Thanks for the heads up.....I will be reaching out to Dave myself to see what I can do individually or regionally to get involved at a higher level as I have alot invested in this hobby and it is my favorite thing to do at this point......brain surgery 5 years ago and I need to hold on to every "Non Chemical" way to lower my Blood Preasure.....and flying has come to be the top choice...for sure!
