Thanks for the posting!! There are a couple other articles available that I've seen - that seem to indicate that the FAA won't be in the "model airplane" killing business. Definitely hoping that it works out as things are looking right now. I've been flying for 56 years (C/L, RC for over 35), have taught dozens of other guys and gals to fly, and it's always been a large part of my life. Would hate to see it all end because of government fear and over-regulation.

Personally, IMHO, AMA has done and continues to do an outstanding job in protecting our rights, and I thank them profusely for that. Naw, we all know they're not perfect (nobody can be) but overall they do a fine job. That's why I've been a member since the early 70's - it's an organization worth supporting.
