Default RE: 80

You could test fly on the BGX and then decide. I did my first with a ST3000.

For gas a 45-50 should be fine at 80" I agree the Moki 1.8 gas is a better fit all considered.

My experiences:
Currently, 1/5 PicaMk-IX spit 88" at 25 lbs. has a Moki 2.10 Nitro and a 20-10 zinger pro. It is slightly faster than my buddies Yellow Mk14 with a DA50.
Hey Moki, switch over the 2.10 to gas...and hurry.

My first Pica Spit was at 26.5 lbs with a Super Tiger 3000. The ST3000 provided a good scale flight, but lacked the power for really large loops. Always add onboard glow for any nitro inverted.
I replaced with a Brison 3.2 (50 cc) afterwards and now my loops were big 800ft ones!

what hurts on both was nose weight. both weighed about 20 lbs, but then 5 and 5-1/2lbs on each required. But don't worry just make sure the CG is correct!!
balance gear up and no gas in the tank.

Have a YA P-47 with Brison 50 and it is very fast. But cowl allows hidding it.

Landings are great with a Spitfire.
