Default RE: F-100 Super Sabre Paint question

Kelly,

Thanks for the info! I'm planning to cover the F-100F that Dan is working on, in FM. It'll be painted in the Cutshall, highly polished show version. I plan on taking my time with the FliteMetal, since it will be my first.

The AirWorld F-100 is already fully riveted with panel lines. Dan is very impressed with the detail of the rivets etc. & he is making molds to add all of the scale vents etc., including all the parts currently available for the BVM. I had it shipped directly to Dan, so, haven't yet seen it myself. That's why I think a lacquer version could look pretty authentic and take a lot less time to complete. I'm thinking of having one ready to take to Jets over KY this summer, but doubt I would finish the FM version in time. I probably could paint one though. We'll see.

These two appear, to me, to be painted? Notice the uniform coloring along the fuse. Natural metal wouldn't be that consistent, I don't think.
