It looks pretty good in the air. I suppose full fuselage would cost slightly more to produce, and would be more fragile.

Building a full fuselage one should be quite feasible, on your own too. Just have to miniaturize the building process...

I suppose much of the warbird crowd enjoys small scale details in their planes. Including lots of small details in a tiny aircraft might be a challenge.
