ALL the components in the ESC are built in the U.S.? I hope they are, but regardless, Novak has a horrible reputation on their brushless stuff right now. Tekin might be ok, but i have heard of enough problems out of their stuff too.
No; thanks to environmental regulations, we've regulated ourselves directly out of making small stuff like that. Awesome job, greenies
However, the fact of the matter is, MOST things inside the ESC are US-sourced. Everybody right now has an awful reputation, because brushless technology is still in its early stages and the many that are using it greatly outnumber those who know how to use it properly. ThunderbirdJunkie has yet to have any brushless ESC fail. Does that mean he will never have one fail? No, but a good indicator may be the fact that the only brushed ESCs he's ever had fail (regardless of brand...aside from a no-name MC330R copy) have been from:

Over current
Over voltage
Water damage

ESC's in general, while being intimidating and seemingly complex, are not difficult to care for and make last a long time. The ESC in ThunderbirdJunkie's B4.1 FT is 12 years old or so.

Sorry a bit late to this but I use Mtroniks for my ESC's. They are totally waterproof and when the odd one has failed out of warranty they have always come up with a discount . I am sure the G2 Pro is rated as 150A even though it states 1/10 scale 4*4.

Mine run really well, the comfort from having in waterproof exec is essential in the UK
They've become rare as hen's teeth in the US, unfortunately...had an Mtroniks ESC in a truck and it was pretty good. Easy to use, robust, ran cool, etc. Nothing bad to say about them. That being said, ThunderbirdJunkie is fairly certain the 15t Nosram ESC (never used...gotta figure out what to put it in, lol) he has sitting here is the same as one of Mtroniks' models.
