RE: Futaba 8FG goes to 14 Channels!!
The 8fg processor is probably based on the 12fg unit or is actually identical. Enabling the extra channels is simply a software thing. After I bought my 12z, Futaba released an update enabling two more channels. (non-proportional) The 8fg was a "8+2" channel radio from jump. The 10c is also 8+2. The 10c is based on the older, proven 9c. The 8fg is of the latest generation. Being updatable is the best part! Look for more cool stuff for the 8fg as time goes on. The more they sell, the more they'll tinker with it.
