Hey 183, Ive got a NIB DA85 to go on my P47 and am in the same position...wondering which prop! For six years I have ran DA100 with 27X10 with great luck and know that the guys with the 85 are running the 26X10 with the same kind for success. I also ran 25X12 3 blades on the 100 which was and excellent combo. The rule to follow, as I was told by some expert 3D guys is when you go to a 3 blade prop, you drop diameter 2" and go up in pitch 2 degrees. So, since the guys are having such good success with the 26X10 2 blade, its only fair to assume the 24X12 would be the way to go. Thats the route I plan on taking unless someone with more knowledge tells me otherwise. Personal experience tells me it will be right, based on the DA100 success. By the way, I plan on trying a Solo 4 blade on the 85!! You think 22X14?
