RE: Looking for high end drift chasis KIT (and other questions)
Lol yeah, good points. When i'm holding a new chassis in my hands, my hope is that it will be a decision based on research and knowledge. As i said, i have a great drifter in the Sprint2 Sport. People have tried mine, and i've received complements on how well it performs. Some even thought it had a gyro in it. I wana try one of these "Ultra high end" chassis's and see what kind of difference it makes. If it doesnt, then no biggie, its still an amazing chassis, and i can let my friends use the Sprint2 Sport.
Again, i've always wanted one of these super sexy looking, full carbon chassis's anyways. Another motivating factor for me looking into it (really i could just have my Sprint2 Sport shipped out here, or even turn my new DF03-RA into one, which i might anyway).
But, the fact that these cost hundreds for the chassis alone, is a big reason to do as much research about it as possible. Figure out what inherent issues they have (such as i've heard of vibrations in the VDF chassis when turning), what their strengths are, and most importantly, WHY people go one way or the other.
This, in the end, will be a decision based on research. Something i wish i had done more thoroughly with my other RC's, ESPECIALLY the Rally. I even knew it had pre-existing problems with the chassis, but rather then do any real research, i went on what the dude after my paycheck said, and because i wanted to believe it, i did. Lesson learned i guess, though an expensive one.
