Default RE: Used DX7SE v new DSMX 6i

Let us not forget that the 'se' is 2048 vs. 1024 on the 6i and (though it has been discussed it hasn't been labeled)
it is 11ms on frame rate vs. 22ms on the 6i. Yep, if you are playing around with fixed wing a couple inches off the ground, or
as rmh mentioned 3DHeli flying you'll like it. Normal flying you won't see it.

I have an 'se' (others as well) but there is no way I would begin to trade it for the 6i.

As always a personal choice.
Mine would be as stated for a choice between the 'se' and the 6i .

HOWEVER, I would go DX8 if there is anyway you can do so.
I'm not high on telemetry but it has both 11ms and 22ms frame rates as well as 2048 resolution (yes I can feel it and I can tell you how to feel it as well))
not to mention both DSM2 and DSMX transmission protocols.
If you like it, telemetry is also there.

As you can see there are individual reasons for the choices.
The DX8, by comparison to the other two is way more advanced and hence a better buy IMO.
