RE: VQ 60 Size Hurricane with DLE 20
Yes, for this size gasser or a 30 the DLE is the only way to go. Tried to put a baffle on the end of the pipe to quiet down the DLE 20, but it didn't work. Removed it. Leaned out a little more and now its turning the 15-8 three blade 8,950 - 9,000 rpm. No more popping or four cycling. Don't know how long this engine will last but it great so far.
