Default RE: help! e savage brushless conversion

bluelake08 - I just finished a burshless conversion 6 month ago. everything was easy to do. basically a bolt up and go. This si the motor and fan I went with ...

motor - http://hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store...idProduct=6527

fan - http://hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store...idProduct=9131

ESC - Hobbyking 150Amp ESC

Total the set up cost me under 100 bucks and it was AWESOME!. Only other thing you will need is a 5mm pinion gear. I started with an 18T pinion (for 5mm shaft) to ensure it would run well. You can and I would suggest swapping to a 22 or 23 T pinion gear if you want insane speeds. If you have any questions let me know. VERY easy conversion. Stock slipper was used so basically all you need to change is the BL motor/ESC/FAN/Pinion gear.

Side note : Do you have upgraded half shafts? if they are stock then be ready for them to break once you start laying down brushless power. i swapped to I believe T-maxx halfshafts as they were stronger.
