RE: VQ 60 Size Hurricane with DLE 20
I made a muffler for my MDS 148 with a 3/4 LL from Home Depot found in the electrical dep. Had the same problem with my CMPro P47 couldn`t get an in cowl muffler to fit with out butchering the cowl . Only thing though this is a diesel engine. So I screwed on a gas line flex pipe to the LL and ran the exhaust all the way back to the tail. through the body. It is nice and quiet. Diesel engines don`t mind long exhaust tubing, not sure about gas. It should work still but not sure on power loss.
