Yes I have always had good results...I still use the original oil pump as well so one has to be very careful that the oil goes through otherwise you will not have an engine within 5 seconds from start-up! For fuel I use kerosene mixed with panel wipe which is a type of refined petrol.
One has to be careful at start up so that if the engine does not start immediately one has to stop and remove excess fuel. If not you will have a wet start flame thrower in which case you have to keep on pumping air through the system until the excess fuel is spent.
