Connection break is a lay mans term for an open circuit.....in other words you have something not connected or there is a break in the circuit somewhere.....my bet would be that circuit board between the battery and the charger.......
Yes the charger could be bad...so could the battery....do you know anyone that has a charger that you could hook the printed circuit board and battery to...if it's good on their charger then it's a 99% chance that your charger is bad
