I finally got a chance to try it out (snow melted). It worked great for speed runs, unbelievable top-end speed (had to be 40+ mph with a 6-cell NiMH pack). Not bad for an XL-5.

As said earlier, motor and esc got pretty warm, but that was after 10 minutes of driving it. I'll definitly be changing the gearing back for some bashing, but it was fun trying it.
