It wasn't fair of me to poke fun at the FP engines...

In all actuality, they were a fine motor. Perfect for the beginner.

They ran well even when they shouldn't have...they were reliable and consistent and that makes it a "10" where the beginner is concerned.

Interestingly enough...the .40FP really liked a 12" prop. Sounds crazy but they ran very well with them...a little extra thrust on the trainer and no strain/overheat from the motor.
