Default RE: Space Control history updates

Odd, Hal DeBolt flew one and it was flawless, but I could not get him to tell me how he modified it so it worked as well as it did..
I spent an evening at Hal DeBolt's home in late 1964. He had the Orbit analog at the time. Knowing the reputation for poor reliability that the Space Control / Orbit radio enjoyed, I asked how he kept his going for the contest schedule. Pappy told me that he had two complete systems. One was in his airplane and one was at the factory or enroute most of the time.
