It is good you have left room under the receiver for heat from the receiver to be able to flow away. When I read the Futaba mounting instructions for the R6014HS for the first time it was many new things to keep in mind that you do not do with older type receivers.

Thanks for the input. Atlanta gets very hot in the summer so having a receiver that is heat sensitive would be a very bad thing.
