Default RE: Nitro Planes Starfire EDF

The horizontal stabilizer is mounted on the stock carbon rod and wooden alignment tabs. I deviated from the stock setup that uses long control rods from the elevators to the servos in the main cabin area. I decided to mount the E-flite S75 sub-micro servos to the wood support spars inside the fuselage and cut slots for the arms to protrude through the fiberglass wall.

In this manner, the linkage can be installed below the stabilizer with short control rods to the elevator. I used my own control rod, clevis, and keepers.
