Hello everyone! I'm new here and am hoping you guys can help me out! I've been flying electric heli's for 2 years now, but always the RTF stuff that always lacks in one way or another. I finally decided to do things right, and am building a T-Rex 450 Airwolf. (Well, a knock off T-Rex, as most of the stuff was to be replaced anyway.)
So, I bought an el-cheapo Titan 450 V2 that came 80% RTF. I flew it a couple times before my new gear came, and it was.....well....marginally ok. My plan was to replace the radio gear and gyro, but leave the servos, ESC, and motor. (for now). I am a complete noob when it comes to actually programming radio gear, and after a days work I finally got the servo horns leveled, the swash plate set up and the radio working right......except, I have no throttle! Upon powering up, all the servos work as they should but the ESC/motor just make beeping sounds. Its not fried, cause when I hook up the old radio gear it works fine.
I've looked at the throttle cut-off settings, made sure the servos were plugged into the right channels, etc. No joy. Any idea what Im doing wrong and how to fix it?
