I swapped out the pullstart on my Force 28 with an OFNA backplate that works with the Roto-Start...for those of you with an actual Force 28 vs the HPI engine, although if they are indeed the same, then the HPI backplate should fit.

I think I still have scars from the blisters I got from the pullstart on that Force 26 during the break-in process.
