Hi All..... Just got my hands on a Cx2 Blade for 10.00 dollars at the Salvation Army Store ....Of course I had to buy a transmitter , binding plug , etc to get this baby off the ground but it's up and flying now. I'm new to flying electric heli's and looking to MOD this heli as much as I can within my price range and just wondering what should I start with .... I'd like to really make this thing stronger, faster and cooler than it is now !!! I have considered ordering a cpl of things online to start with but just want to hear what you guys have to say first about parts and add-on's that have been field tested and are great things rather than junk !!! I have already replaced the lower rotor head assembly with a blue aluminum one to match the top rotor head. I have new eflite batteries and extra stock blades and landing gear! But I really am looking to get rid of the Red Plastic body and go with a carbon tail assembly and possibly a carbon fiber fuslage to start with . Then I guess anything after that is possible.... I really have seen some great MODS on the internet and lot's of great stuff done to these things on youtube as well. I really guess I want to start with the most important things first for strength and stability ....extended fly time and lighting a bit later ....Maybe even a wireless mounted camera .... But I really am in my first stages of learning to fly this thing so rather than waste money on parts that break every time I crash, I'd rather just buy the parts that stand up to some abuse and will make this Heli last a while and Really Improve on it's flight capabilities.... Any suggestions , links to the right place to get the parts I need and want , and advice on improving this HELI will be greatly accecpted !!!! LET"SGOFLYIT !!!
