Yep....that is what is this rc hobby is doing for me now....time will heal........never get over the loss.....just gotta keep living.....

You story mirrors mine.....my wife died in 10/09.... I got into RC boats after that, then back into cars.

In 1985 I got a Grasshopper, then a HotShot, then a Big Bear. Me and my kids had a lot f fun with those for several years and they got put away. I later gave away all my gear to a friend with a young son.I recently spoke to that friend, and his son is still running the Grasshopper and HotShot. My wife died in 11/09 and I got back into RC cars with an SC10.
I did nitro boats in the late 70's, but that was about the time I got my first 1:1 car, then got thoroughly distracted by girls and dating.
Having stuff to do, models to workon helped with the grieving process.
