Default RE: need help with servos

what radio is it? if the servos move a little when you turn on the receiver then that usually means its not getting signal. if your transmitter does not have an indicator light, make sure it is actually getting power. make sure the crystals are plugged in(if your radio uses crystals) if ti is one of those synthesized radios make sure the receiver and transmitter are on the same channel. if it is 2.4ghz you need to bind the transmitter and receiver. <div>

I talked to him on the phone - he has 2 different radios 1 AM and 1 FM, 4 different servos. He tried both radios, bypassing the on-off switch, switching the servos to different channels, etc. Pretty much did everything a guy should do and still got nothing. I'm pretty sure he's going to take it back to the place he got it from and talk to the guy.

He sent me a picture of the Rx, and it looked like it was hooked up right. (Servo plugs were in the right way) When the on/off switch was bypassed, one servo moved about 1/8" and thats it. No more response. The Rx is matched to the Tx on the same channel/crystals.

The guy he got the radio gear from tested everything before it went out the door. (came off a crashed plane) The FM radio is a 7 channel from the plane and the AM 3-channel was a new unit off the shelf I believe.
