I would also like to add I am 98% self taught. After flying a sky scooter for a couple of months and mastering that unstable pig and countless hours on FMS I felt this time was as good as any. Also i had visited the local club here several times. I watched closely and got to know a couple of people. A member here, Tierod, Took me up for the first time couple of weeks ago. He took the plane off and he landed. I did get disoriented a couple of times but was not worried about getting out too far due to the fact he had me on a "buddy cord". other than that one flight i have been on my own, I am kind of enjoying it that way.
