Hey guys, I got my Sparrowhawk XT today, installed a Hobbywing 120A ESC, an XTM high torque servo and a Fly-Sky FS GT3B 2.4 ghz radio system. Still waiting for a 3900kv Tacon motor. Will post picks once the motor arrives. Very excited about the truck. I was wondering if anybody has tried Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo wheels/tires in it. Looking to buy a set to test them but if somebody has tried them please let me know.
I was thinking about the 1/16 revo wheels myself for my 1/10th 4x4 truggy, almost bought a set online, but after seeing them at a local hobby shop in person I'm glad i didnt. They are definitely a good amount smaller then 1/10th stadium truck/truggy type wheels and tires.
Keep an eye on motor temps with the tacon, I have one on a 2wd truck and it stays cool, but a 4x4 might put alot more stain on it. Cant beat them for the price though I have 2 and love them.
