You do not have 14 seperate channels that each have a destinct lever, switch or knob. In this case you are slaving a channel to multiple servos? For instance using two servos, one for each elevator half. That is not two channels, to me. Don't get me wrong, It is a valuable feature but not really an extra channel. Please tell me if I am not understanding what is actually happening here.
From what Ican tell it is twelve proportional and two switched channels. With the 14 channel R6014FS receiver (which the 8FG v3.0supports)you can assign the two joysticks, eight switches (six three position &two two position), two sliders and two volume knobs to any of those using the software. 4+8+2+2= 16 independant control inputs to use as you see fit. Don't know why you'd want to as only the joysticks, sliders and volume knobs are proportional controls (so eight "un-mixed" proportional channels). But with a switch you can change what aslider or volume knob controls because you can program each, and the switches can use Boolean logic (AND/OR/EOR) programming! Iwas truly floored by this and haven't started to figure those possibilities! But with the additional "simple" mixing and ganging now possible you can mix some sophisticated wing controls: four ailerons and two flaps, etc.

There's some wild programming possible. Use thetrim lever normally for throttle to trim elevator so you don't need to take your thumb off the elevator stick, etc. If you want to use the glider/hele "can" mixes you're stuck with some assignments, but If you want to play with 12 it sure looks to me like you can.
