Hobbyking (in Hong kong, but they have a warehouse in the USA) sells planes that are plug and fly. It's hard to suggest something, you wrote that you are coming back to RC after having not flown for some time. Do you think you would need a trainer like plane?

You can look at the hobbyking website and see if you can find a few models that you like, or use this site to see all Plug-and-Fly planes in their USA warehouse, it will show 4 pages with jets, trainers, an airliner, warbird, bi-planes, etc..

Regarding chargers, this is a good one: Turnigy A-6-10 200W Balance charger & discharger, it can charge up to 10Ah
