My H9 P47-150 could use 2 ch for Ail, 2 for Ele, 2 for Flap, 2 for Gear, 1 for Rud, 1 for Thro, 1 for Drop Tank, and I could use 1 for each Bomb Drop. The Gear uses electric Retracts. Having each on a separate channel allows me to stagger the Right and Left Retract, in a Scale fashion. The Retractable Tailwheel and Tailwheel Steering could be on separate channels, as well. Lots of mixing.

Right now, I use expensive Matchboxes and/or Y Harness, for some functions.
