ORIGINAL: Tony Hallo
I am under the impression that most use 22-24 degrees advance at 4000 rpm. I have read that the DLE 20 uses something different but never read what that might be. Keep in mind that most like the C-H and Rcxel retard timing rather than advance, zero retard above 4000 rpm, some percentage of retard below 4000 rpm. I have found my ZDZ modules are set at 6 degrees BTDC when following the instructions provided.
This is an excellent comment concerning the Rcexl ignition modules!!! Instead of being "auto-advancing" they are actually "auto-retarding"
