Default RE: I Saw it! TF 60 Size Corsair ARF!!!!!

Not everyone has the mindset that dictates: gas engines are the way to go. Many still prefer nitro fueled 4 strokes OR 2 strokes, and even electric power is has very strong arguments for it.

To some, fuel economy isn't the 1st priority. Keeping it light (to fly right), looks, and sound are all factors which do not favor gas engines.

Personally, I have been extremely satisfied with the way a Saito .82 powers mine. The jug does not protrude from the cowl in the least bit, the muffler can be completely concealed, and the sound is awesome. The Saito .91 is only slightly larger, but will give that margin for error that so many believe they need.

I'm thinking real hard about this ARF, I would like to see different views of it (didn't ANYBODY else get pics at Toledo?), and if it turns out the wingtips and rudder profiles have been corrected: I buy one, strip it down, and put a better finish on it, and power it with either another Saito .82 OR .91.

Here is pic of my old TF Corsair with Saito .82GK, can you spot it?
